Clinically Proven

African Mango Studies

There have been multiple studies carried out to prove the weight loss benefits of African Mango. Interestingly it is proven to eradicate fat even from hard to reach areas like tummy, thighs, bottom, neck and chin.

In the US, Oprah Winfrey’s Dr Oz endorsed African Mango calling it a “breakthrough supplement” and ‘miracle in your medicine cabinet’ on his Emmy-Award winning show, Dr Oz.

Dr Tanya Edwards on the show tried the capsules herself and reported: “I lost 7 pounds without making any changes to my usual healthy diet and exercise routine! I began recommending it to my patients who needed to lose weight, especially if they had high cholesterol and/or diabetes”.

New clinical research has shown that men and women who take two pills at least 30 minutes before a main meal (breakfast and dinner), experience consistent weight loss within a month. The average person burned off 8.9 pounds in the first 28 days, without changing their diet or exercise regime.

There have been several studies proving that irvingia gabonensis (African Mango) brings about significant improvements in body weight, lowering body fat and reducing waist circumference, another study showed an average weight loss of 12.3 pounds within 30 days, again, even without exercise or dieting.

STUDIES REVEAL THAT AFRICAN MANGO CAN HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT

There have been several studies conducted to test the effectiveness of African mango in weight loss. Results have shown significant improvements in body weight, lowering body fat and reducing waist circumference.

A study published in the May, 2005 issue of Lipids Health Digest examined the effects ingesting Irvingia gabonensis seeds had on people suffering from obesity. 40 middle aged people participated in the study. 28 people took the seeds three times a day for a month while following a normal diet. The remaining 12 people were given a placebo. At the end of the month, researchers discovered the Irvingia gabonensis seeds had significantly reduced both the body weight and cholestorol levels for the people who took them compared to the portion of the group that simply took placebos.

Another study in 2009, Medical journal ‘Lipids Health & Disease’ – 102 participants were split into two groups. One were taking 150mg of the extract twice daily, the other was the placebo group. The group taking the extract lost 28 pounds, on average in 10 weeks, compared to less than 2 from the placebo group. The group taking the extract also lost an average of 6.7 inches on their waist circumference, 18.4% body fat, and again, blood sugar and cholesterol levels were down in the group taking African Mango extract.
